on the mrt
there were tons of kids and teens because it was school holiday. We walked pass many groups of kids on their school holiday tour, I can feel how excited they were
bus filled again with a bunch of excited little kids, the atmosphere was lively even the teachers were having fun shouting at the kidsTaiwan expo park! its sunny and HOT
I regret not wearing any sun block cause SOMEBODY told me it was an indoor expo, ya right… somebody forgot to tell me I’ll be bathing in the sun for so long >< my shirt was all wet before I reach the expo

going into the pavilion of dreams
We were given a brightly colored rubber bracelet, the first room was dark, there was a big white flower hanging like a chandelier in the middle of the room, it was lit with purple lights, we all sat on a row of chairs at 1 end of the room
when the door closed, music started playing and the white giant flower started moving its petals like it was dancing
flower petal maze, when we walk pass the petals, the projector will display our insect on to the petals and it would follow us wherever we go
this machine shows us how our flower had grown. Mine grew into something that looks like a lump of seaweed…
this is the fourth room, it was empty with only artificial grass in the middle, we all sat down and the walls around us light up by the projectors above our heads. The whole scene made us feel like we’re sitting on a magic lily carpet drifting around to see all the wonders from the natural forest and swams to the city of Taipei.
this is the last room, there was a loooooong sandy table and a big screen in front. It looked like a blue mountain heading towards the blue sky at first, then I was told to put out my arms onto the blue table, as I did that my green lump of seaweed now grew even larger slowly drift away from my hands into the once I thought blue mountain ‘actually a blue river’ slowly drifting into the monitor on the wall. Everyone did the same, it was very entertaining.
the green thing on the right is mine. like i said macam seaweed kan?
after the pavilion of dreams we went to small theater filled with vintage gadgets all around. We watched a 10-15 minute short animated film created by one of the very famous artist there by the name Jimmy
yes... they actually sell this
We ate a restaurant called Arashi, people in Taiwan… just love to wait in long queue for food. I ate this Japanese pork ramen
Out to look for my CPL filter!! Everyone was praying outside their shop for the hungry ghosts. Cute girls in nurse uniform too. Bought the CPL filter at a good price on that street. A lot more cheaper than Malaysia and it sure wasn’t a counterfeit.
reminds me of a spiky Fruit
Mummy exhibition. Sorry peeps L no pictures allowed there. There was 1 male mummy, an 8 year old female mummy and some animal mummy. I’d say it was pretty creepy. Just as we reach the entrance, there was already a foul stench I could barely stand. Luckily it wasn’t the mummy, some idiot ate a lot of smelly to fu and farted at the narrow entrance.
more walking outside the hot sun
samurai mama on the train. don't mess with her
At the café on top of a bookstore, they serve a drink with green tea on the bottom and fresh salty whip cream on the top. It looks exactly like beer! My gosh! I never tasted anything like that before. I loved it. We had some seafood tempura to go with it while waiting for some friends to go karaoke
After a whole day of fun tiresome walking, went back to the motel, checked out my bruising thigh and went to sleep, it still looks horrible.
